Everyone agrees that life would be much simpler if we could access a file or application without navigating through a thick layer of folders. If you create a shortcut for every important document or program, you will end up with an overcrowded desktop. Blue Jet Button offers a simple, but very effective solution. It will display a small interface, where you may add and customize shortcuts for applications, files, folders and more.

The application is supported by 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows 2000 or higher. You can run it after a speedy installation process, without needing to install additional tools or services.

By default, you will find a few shortcuts on the compact interface, so you can see what the application is capable off. The shortcuts will launch your default web browser, minimize every window on the screen or restore them, open the Add/Remove Programs window, shut down or restart the computer, remove a flash drive and more.

The shortcuts can be placed in different groups which appear as tabs on the interface. A group can be created by right clicking the interface, choosing the Add Group option and typing a name. Also with a context menu option, you may create a new shortcut. A window will appear, where you need to specify a path or an action, choose an icon, select a folder and even set a hot key.

The easiest way to add a shortcut is to click and drag an existing one over the interface. It will be placed immediately, with the same icon, in the active group. Special buttons, such as Hibernate, Shutdown and others can be activated from the application's preferences menu. You can also select a language, skins and make other adjustments in this window.
